data consumption and cores usage

how much data is typically used for downlosding work units and upliading results of work units.

by default, does it use quarter or half or three quarters or all cores of mobile device ( i mean for 8 cores device: 2 or 4 or 6 or 8) OR we can specify number od cores?

What mix of projects will you be using as each project will have different sized work units.

In the computing options for Boinc there are two settings that determine CPU usage, % CPU TIME and % CPUs USED. Set the time to 100% and the used to dictate how many cores you want active.

You can see the data usage for the various projects listed here in the documentation. If you only have access to metered data then you might wish to avoid Africa Rainfall Project; though since you reference mobile devices then that won't be a concern because ARP doesn't run on Android.
