Exclusions do not seem to be working.

I have setup exclusions for 1 .exe on the BOINC windows client in both computing and GPU and it isn't working. Is there a trick to getting this working?

Re: Exclusions do not seem to be working.

So, just to rule out the simple things. In your BOINC Manager (branded as World Community Grid Manager), do you have it set to "run always" or "run based on preferences"? Any exclusions you make for halting computation while an executable is running will be ignored if set to "run always".

Also, some games use a launcher and then launch a different executable so you may have to open up Task Manager while running to verify exactly which executable is running. Those are my quick suggestions.

Run Always was the problem. Thanks so much for your quick and efficient help.
