32-bit or 64-bit being used?

On a Linux machine, you can find the PID of the research application (which will start with the name "wcg") and then execute the command "file -L /proc/PID/exe"

I am running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.3, and this does not work at all. There are no exe files in the system for one thing. For another thing, I have both programs (32-bit and 64 bit) on the machine, so I can run either. Instead, the following works.
$ locate wcg | grep arp1_wrf | grep slots
/var/lib/boinc/slots/0/wcgrid_arp1_wrf_7.27_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
/var/lib/boinc/slots/6/wcgrid_arp1_wrf_7.27_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu

Re: 32-bit or 64-bit being used?

x86_64 tells me it's a 64-Bit application.
