Hi,
----------------------------------------I'm trying to get some GPU work for Intel HD Graphics 520. I had no luck for 2 weeks with windows 10 pro (reinstalled OS, tried different driver versions, reseted project, reinstalled boinc). Boinc recognizes the card (CL3.0 or CL2.1 depending on the driver I use), but wont download any work. So I decided to try installing linux on this machine. Tried a bootable lite linux from USB stick, Latest fedora and Ubuntu desktop versions. All have the same problen ; boinc says no usable GPUs found. is this a problem with Intel HD Graphics 520, or am I missing some driver in linux? Linux installations are straight out of the box. My linux knowledge is very limited. In Ubuntu, when I check software & update -> Additional driver, I get a message "No additional drivers available." and "no prorietary drivers are in use." I tried
----------------------------------------sudo apt-get install intel-gpu-tools sudo apt-get install intel-opencl-icd and now intel GPU is listed in the boincs eventlog when starting.. So I guess I'm heading to right direction |

----------------------------------------I am interested to know how it works out for you. Did you start getting intel GPU tasks? Also if yes, if you changed anything in your WCG profile preferences for it. I am not sure if you saw my reply in the other thread since it got buried pretty quickly. I was able to reproduce your issue repeatedly, but only when the machine has only 1 gpu and it is the intel gpu.  |

Sorry for the late reply. I managed the boinc client to recognize the intel GPU, but did not receive any packages. I guess this was due that I did not had enabled the CPU usage on the web settings.
----------------------------------------I reinstalled windows on that laptop and it's working now that I have a correct intel driver set up and allowed CPU work from settings. |
