Re: Trouble Getting GPU Tasks

Still haven't received any GUP WUs and Richard's explanation helps. I checked and it said something like checking for Nvidia GPU WUs every 11 hours! I've tried checking manually but always get backed off.

Re: Trouble Getting GPU Tasks

You can run a script or batch file every ten minutes to check for work with this:

boinccmd --project http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ update

That way you won't miss out on work availability when it shows up.

just don't run it on an interval shorter than 122 seconds or you'll never get any work, the server will respond that your last request was too recent and make you wait again. and since the schedule request itself can take some time (usually it's only a few seconds, but can get a delay randomly making the request take longer, like 30 seconds) and the timer starts AFTER the request is complete, not when the command is sent, it's probably best to not try to do intervals less than 200 seconds, in my opinion.

Re: Trouble Getting GPU Tasks

I used the script from the "work unit availability" thread and snagged *1* already! Just like fishing.
