There is a competition called Formula BOINC that runs Sprints and WCG was picked for it so harding for bunkers is happening and causing this issue.

Is it over how long time period? One or maybe two days could be just unlucky.. Cant figure any good reason to limit high end cards I have observed this behaviour for quite some time. And within the past days, it was even more like that :-( Perhaps someone from the project team could tell what this is about There is no implementation or logic applied to cause the outcomes you describe. It is due to randomness that you are seeing that outcome. the share of WUs one receives is really extremely volatile, see this example: Oct. 27: total WUs returned: 582.605; my share: 941 Oct. 29: total WUs returned: 677.103; my share: 370 only  |

the share of WUs one receives is really extremely volatile, see this example: Oct. 27: total WUs returned: 582.605; my share: 941 Oct. 29: total WUs returned: 677.103; my share: 370 only It is very constant for me. Each time I attach, I get zero. But you are doing a good job, and I can use my cards elsewhere. |

Well, it can go 12 hours or more without any OPNG tasks. Then all of a sudden I will get 18 of them, and with some luck 18 again after 30 minutes or so. Then it all repeats again, with 12 hours or more of no OPNG tasks at all.
----------------------------------------It's mostly just a waste of time, electricity, and money. And after November 1st, due to a 67% increase of electricity cost from that date, I will no longer run any of my GPU crunching computers. Yeah in France too big increase in electricity tariffs (and natural gas) will force me to reduce activity.

If you must choose, turn off CPU computing and opt into GPU computing.
Most computers can contribute more with a handful of OPN GPU workunits than a day's worth of GPU units. Is the 67% increase regular winter rates? I tried looking up news for Swedish electricity, but all I saw was news on new solar projects. |

Dayle, I afraid it's the same "green transition" than in Finland. Electricity and fuel prices are sky rocketing because of this. People are worried at least here in Finland that they cannot afford to heat their houses or travel to work any more.
