There are no tasks for my RTX 3070.
It seems that there are tasks for toy GPUs. 17-Jun-2021 08:03:29 [World Community Grid] Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 17-Jun-2021 08:03:29 [World Community Grid] Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU 17-Jun-2021 08:03:31 [World Community Grid] Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 17-Jun-2021 08:03:31 [World Community Grid] No tasks sent 17-Jun-2021 08:03:31 [World Community Grid] No tasks are available for OpenPandemics - COVID 19 17-Jun-2021 08:03:31 [World Community Grid] No tasks are available for OpenPandemics - COVID-19 - GPU 17-Jun-2021 08:03:31 [World Community Grid] Tasks for CPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them 17-Jun-2021 08:03:31 [World Community Grid] Tasks for AMD/ATI GPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them 17-Jun-2021 08:03:31 [World Community Grid] Tasks for Intel GPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them |

There are no tasks for my RTX 3070. I do get some for my two RTX3070 - once in a while, just a few ones at a time. They are finished within several minutes, and the waiting period until the next ones come can be hours ![]() |

The projects have to work with limited resources, it may or may not get better in the future.
But it's is hobby for me, it's not like I make my living from running WCG. |

But it's is hobby for me, it's not like I make my living from running WCG. That's a healthy attitude. Personally I think I'm spending too much money and time upgrading and babysitting my grid, considering this is only a hobby. Currently running 7 GPUs and three more on the way.. already lost count of CPUs. Well.. you know what they say.. "it's not hobby at all if it doesn't take all your money and time" :-) |

If you don’t have every model of GPU selected in your profile you will get those availability messages for unselected ones even when there are no tasks available.

The kitties were doing OK yesterday, with enough kibbles coming through to keep a few in the kibble bowl. Not so much today though. The bag o' kibble seems to be empty today and they only have a few bits left.
----------------------------------------Meowsigh EDIT.... And 25 minutes later, the kitties got lucky again. Not much, but 6 more bits of kibble found their way down the chute into their kibble bowl. ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by kittyman at Jun 17, 2021 5:36:50 PM] |

Looks like we've the bottom of the barrel. Only the slowest nvidia GT and Intel GPUs still have something left..

I've still been getting a few as each new half-hourly batch is released.
Remember that newly-created workunits are 'unassigned' - they could be picked up by any GPU type that asks. They only become 'nvidia' or 'intel' jobs for resends, depending on who caught the first allocation. You may be seeing more intel jobs because of the higher failure rate for those GPUs, necessitating proportionally more resends. |

I have been intermittently running dry for hours at a time. That might be part of the explanation. Thanks
