The XML stats should be available at: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/boinc/stats/ once people start getting results validated. Little question: Do you send out workunits 4 times before they get validated? If i look at the XML there are 4 users with exactly the same amount of credit wich implies they all got credited for the same workunit ... (Also, how many times are the xml stats updated/day?) |

BOINC is configured to require that at least four results match before validation is successful.
The stats XML files will be generated 4 times a day at roughly the same time as the stats are updated on the website. |

Don't you think 4 is alot? Most projects do 3 at max. (I'll stop bugging you now  ) |

Hi,
----------------------------------------Regarding XML Stats again I posted a message to Neil who runs a BOINC Stats Counter service see link below for his site: - http://www.mundayweb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=431#431 asking for him to include WCG to his service unfortunatly he can't do this at the moment see his reply to my message below: Although there are user and host xml files, there is no team xml file at the moment. I need this file in order to provide the team stats as well. Cheers, Neil. |

We will not be providing the team file. The team information is stored on the website database and not in the BOINC database. Perhaps in the future we will be able to implement a change that will allow this to happen, however, for now we will not have the team file available.

Me again, just one final thing on XML Stats
----------------------------------------You will probally have to bring in the Team XML files at some point as the BOINC Stat pages which people run like to show how teams are doing, most people like to have all the information in one place, rather than having to refer back to the project websites. Unless someone is able to take your team information from your webpages to run on BOINC stats pages. Bye for now off to work, you have got 9hrs of piece and quiet |

Just to add another request for team info in the XML stats too.
It might not seem very important, but to all the BOINC teams out there it is - many aren't going to want to crunch for WGC BOINC if their credits don't get included in their BOINC team total. I'd predict that the amount of active users will rise quite a bit if team stats are provided in the XML files. I think it might also be nice if the individual project breakdowns can be included in the XML stats too, so instead of a single WGC score you could get a "WGC: HPF" and "WGC: FAAH" score. Just my 2p worth anyway. |

Any Offical word on the XML stats exporting the team stats, I assume it can't be that hard to do it as there are already XML stats that exist.

The last I heard was several days ago when knreed corrected a post I had made listing the things that were being worked on as a priority. He said that the XML Team Stats were a lower priority than the results page and boarding FAAH on BOINC. mycrofth |
