I tried a clean install of Ubuntu 20;10 on a desktop. It seemed to work until I tried to install Boinc. Boinc would not work at all. It would claim that a file was present but could not be read. Check permissions. Next, I tried to install it on a Rasberry Pi. Everything looked fine as it was installing until I left it. When I returned I saw a blank screen. I tried to do everything I knew to get a screen until I poped open the cover to discover that the fan was not moving and now I can not turn the computer back on as it appears to be dead.

I found out why the raspberry pi would not work but I have found that Ubuntu 20':10 will not recognize the wi-fi adapter.
