sorry, if this topic has already been discussed. I tried to find the thread with the discussion, but there were to many search results.

I think that we can wait forever, if we want to ask Microsoft to put BOINC on the playstation. This will never happen.

But there is a solution: Open the X BOX, take your soldering equipment.
Unmount the electonic componet containing the BIOS of the XBOX.

Buy an EPROM identical with this electronic component, programme a BIOS identical with the original XBOX BIOS, just with the additional option: I do not want to start a game but only BOINC.

Does somebody know, where I can find the BIOS in an X BOX and how to reprogram the BIOX in a way that makes it possible to run BOINC?
