Not one word about when and if MIP is going to upgrade the Rosetta version to fix their L3 Cache problem. Does the IBM staff even ask them???

Re: October Update: Microbiome Immunity Project

Thanks for the update. It is great to hear about the potential new work units, even better if it helps speed up research

That was asked and answered elsewhere, probably in the MIP topic.
They asked them. The answer is no.

PS - I have the problem when trying to run Rosetta and MIP together also. They do not play well together.
It forces some re-configuring and limits what I can do.

Re: October Update: Microbiome Immunity Project

Yes, I believe it was answered on the old Monthly Updates thread.

My Ryzen 1400 PC sometimes gets computation errors, specifically, unhandled exceptions. I don't have issues outside of BOINC. I do notice that while running 2 Rosetta@home tasks I don't see to have those issues, but it happens more often if I run 2 MIP tasks. Don't know if there's any relation.

This usually causes several of the MCM tasks to fail while the MIP tasks remain unaffected. A reboot solves the issue.
