Yes I realize now that a suspend/resume could have helped out.
I'll keep this in mind for the next time... Thanks for your replies! |

sudo service boinc-client restart adri, Do you run BOINC as a service?I thought there was a problem doing that such as one can't use BOINC Manager or BoincTasks. I use: sudo /etc/init.d/boinc-client restart Sorry, Aurum420, I don't know what problem that would be with Boinc Manager, and since I've never used BoincTasks, I can't say anything about that. Although I'm still using Boinc Manager, lately I've noticed I'm more into using wcgresults and wcgstats - wcgresults for the local queue and wcgstats for all or for specific devices/sciences. For a quick view I use: wcgresults -NPLATEDCOWS It shows the whole queue on my device with — thanks to all the letters with the -N option — Deadline, CPUtime, LastCheckpoint, Estimated Time left, Estimated Total Time, Percentage done, Status, slOt number, WorkingSet size, Application Version Number and of course Task Name; adding a '1' is showing only the initialized (running/paused) tasks. So I don't need Boinc Manager that much anymore at the moment. Who knows when that will change again. ![]() |
