If you click on the WCG icon at the taskbar, where all the other icons are (Internet, Sound, Antivirus, etc), you get those options? I'm thinking you right-clicked an opened WCG window at the taskbar, and not the taskbar icon.
----------------------------------------This is the icon I am referring to https://imgur.com/vAayzTK Since you use the WCG version, it will have the WCG icon, not the Yellow and Blue BOINC icon. A right-click on it and "Temporarily Suspend Computation" will pause BOINC for 60 minutes. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz [Edit 2 times, last edit by Mosqueteiro at Sep 18, 2020 4:53:23 PM] |

Just updated my original post in reply to your OP and for other readers that get stuck on tabs and don't look up at the menu bar.
A former friend of Willy is sorry it is not a solution for you. Can think of a refinement to Exclusive, when not minimized, but not going to propose it to the developers. |

The "System Tray" is the collection of app icons in the lower right corner of the screen and is the right-most portion of the Windows taskbar. We're not talking about the WCG application button in the taskbar but the icon in the System Tray.
----------------------------------------If you right-click on it, there is a "Snooze" option that pauses computation for 1 hour I believe. That's an easy option that applies for anything without having to configure exclusive applications (although that is more ideal long-term).

Thank you! This 'System Tray' is exactly what I needed, I found the snooze (finally) and will be using it now. (not the icon that shows when the GUI is running).
