I apologize on that. It appears that it was not flagged as 'Special Announcement' when the article was posted. It was just under 'system updates'. If you could, double check your communication preferences and check that you have System Updates checked for in app. https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewNewsPreference.action Also, the scan is currently operating, things appear to be going well. I am currently expanding the deadlines in the database for all results that are considered in progress. This will not show up on your client unfortunately, but please know that on the backend we won't be resubmitting or checking for an additional 24 hours to all results. Once that is complete we will be bringing the system back online.

Ok, roller coaster of messages here. Since we have a planned outage for BOINC, I'm going to update the kernel on our backend servers at this time as well. This would help us from having to do one in the future. This will however take down the website for about 30 minutes while I reboot the servers.
