I am trying to troubles shoot an issue unrelated to BOINC/OPN and I have to stop the BOINC client after every boot because of the spam in dmesg:
[ 119.860067] "wcgrid_opn1_aut" (2600) uses deprecated CP15 Barrier instruction at 0x12fc44 How can I suppess this behaviour without impacting the rest of the system? |

Yeah I have the same problem on Odroid M1.
A typical OPN1 job work for some 20-22 CPU hours on M1, and similar job on Jasper Lake Celeron takes about 2h. I don't think ARM A55 cores are THAT slow.. Perhaps the executable is built for any ARM machine, including dark ages of the original RasPi? It does seem to be the case: $ file wcgrid_opn1_autodock_7.21_arm-unknown-linux-gnueabihf So that might be a stupid question but.. Are those executables open source? Can I compile it myself? |
