Anyone having problems with their hosts resetting/cancelling the WCG project? Checked my servers this morning and found them running fine but with almost all projects offline; lost a LOT of work. Needed to re-add the WCG project. Closer inspection revealed that many had had the project command set to "Remove" - by some invisible hand - which would explain the loss of projects and data. We did have a small earthquake here in the Shaky Isles but that does not explain the circumstances as not all machines were affected. Anyone know what cooks? Cheers

No idea.
----------------------------------------All is well with my devices and haven't seen anyone reporting this issue. Is WCG your only project? Was it the only project with issues? Do you use an account manager? ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

Yes, WCG is my only project on these eight servers but I use the BOINC app rather than the WCG version. I use BAM! as the project manager although I can't say I'm pleased with their scorekeeping... Project page on the host apps stated "Will remove [project] when tasks done". Lost 4 days' work...

It seems that several members did experience some troubles in the last time with BAM.
----------------------------------------Since I do not use BAM, I cannot help further. Cheers, Yves |
