Why is it that BOINC is running a WCGrid task with a deadline on 7/27 and is not running a WCGrid task with a deadline on 7/24 (or a Rosetta task with a deadline on 7/21 for that matter)? This doesn't seem smart. I understand it should not always run tasks according to the deadline, depending on tasks having a shorter and longer remaining time, but all tasks have hours remaining and here we're talking about 3 and 6 days difference. Why is this?

Read up on FIFO, the first principle, and weighted resource share scheduling under which BOINC operates.
