Greetings. Some time ago soon after including the African Rainfall project onto the "My Projects" list it begin running on my computer however my computer at that time did not have enough RAM for it to continue and I aborted it as best as I recall. A few days ago I added RAM so as to attempt to meet the requirement but the project has not been downloaded onto my machine. According to Windows Task Manager my computer has 3GB of physical memory available. I noticed that the project is still active. May I inquire if I must take any special action to ensure my participation considering the previous abort procedure. Thank you kindly Cheerios

You might want to add an app_config.xml file in your WCG project folder. E.g.,
----------------------------------------<app_config>Take a look at your Resources and see how much RAM is being used by all your activities. BOINC may not think you have enough and not request certain CPU WUs. BOINC writes messages to a log. You can better control how many ARP WUs you get using Device Profiles. ![]() ...KRI please cancel all shadow-banning[Edit 1 times, last edit by Aurum420 at Jul 14, 2020 3:38:42 AM] |
