WU's rationed

I have been running the African Rainfall Project on 3 machines (12 cores total) for some time now (alongside OpenPandemic) and I never seem at have more ARP Wu’s running on each machine at a time. So, I have been wondering if the WU’s are rationed 1 to a machine?

Re: WU's rationed

Check your device profile, I believe they're automatically limited to one per machine. You can manually increase that number, however.

Re: WU's rationed

If you plan to increase the number of ARP1 WUs you would like to run simultaneously, it is recommended that you do not allocate more than 50% of the machine CPU cores to ARP1, otherwise you would experience some bad performance.
Cheers,
Yves

Re: WU's rationed

It would be good if the device profile note would indicate the default of 1 per host OR "Also see Projects Limits section under Custom Profile", as this is now multiple times in recent weeks the issue has cropped up. Maybe a Help item with 'how to' would serve better.
