Just curious on the mechanism, member shows in sidebar to have joined May 2018, but there are posts under the name in 2014 and many many further back.

So how if this a parking zone name for members who've left or wanted to be GPDR'd, can the name be used by an active member? |

Bug in the forum app.
My Case I was the GIBA until certain time in the past, with a lot of posts na so on... and when and try change my usaername to the same, but withou caps letters, some disaster crashed out my history and I start from begin with posts, but the old Fórum name GIBA remain with it status, withou the badges... I think that tech team made some coments at that time, but don1t remember exactly what was the problem.    |

With all the lip service paid to security, I wonder why the obsolete forum software is left untouched. There's undoubtedly tons of vulnerabilities. I realize there's custom work to integrate the badges showing up and probably Single Sign-On work, but surely newer forum software would be worth the Level of Effort just based on the security updates alone. (And the ability to send PMs to other members, @tag them, alerts, and basic stuff like showing their username when you quote them).

The post counter remains at zero with every new post, neither does any post after December 02, 2019 appear in searches.
As for "some disaster crashed out my history and I start from begin with posts". Yes, the forum software is case sensitive on member names and must match your crunching account for the badges to show. How to change from small to CAPS is, 1) change giba to gibas 2) change gibas to GIBA That should take care of keeping the link with your badges. The post count is though lost and starts fresh. |
