It's a shame that Drs Bowman & Chodera don't team up with WCG. Folding@home does such a lousy job at managing work and they've had so many bugs and server problems. Everything that F@H does badly WCG does great. It would be the perfect pairing.

No you can't , 3 project is on pause now. they are not active, No badge earning then no work is there.

As i try to explan on Main Research Overview webpage 3 of them cant give us Work Unit, and go ahead lock your pc to smach children cancer or fight aid's and TB and sont let app get work from other pc, then you will learn not all is as it seem.

look i want to help then they do have work, its not about that, but my point is
you could have favorit preference in what you dedicate pc with then have human not prefer something over other, what WCG seem to lack is understanding that and change simple view in what is active and can feed the world's WCG user's, and in my point of view, that the diffrence in what is Main Project and what is a sub category, ( there is nothing wrong in sub category )

Excepted ARP1, I do not see currently which WCG project is not related to life science respectively biology or medicines.
Within the last 13 years, I cannot remember that we did experience that 3 projects are temporarily "suspended" at the same time. It is a particularly seldom situation which is incidentally caused by the scientists and not by WCG.
I am not sure if you already took time to get know how you can define and manage the device profiles.
You can express your preferences by selecting the projects you wish to support, and if you want it, you can accept to crunch for other projects if no work is available for your preferred projects.
I do not really see needs and benefits for a more "complicated" selection process excepted a possible exclusion of particular project, e.g.: "I do not will to compute for this project".
However, as more options are possible, as more the people complain because it is "too complex" or because the wished option they would like to have is not implemented/available.
