I just got a captain email from WCG that says Scripps estimates they may need over a billion WUs for OPN1. Look how many of us are flat out to submit a million WUs each day. That's almost 3 years at this rate. The email was to encourage recruiting more BOINCers. It did not mention if Scripps & WCG are ready and able to handle 10 million OPN WUs a day plus another million for ARP, HST, FAH, MIP, SCC, and MCM.

I have 3 bronze badges.. I am AWESOME.. back to drinking beer.

Sure would like to see 200 and 500 year badges for OPN. yikes. I hope it does work out - because there are vaccines going forward already. WCG needs to get the media involved - national news-level attention. Heck, reaching out to publications like The Guardian, online publishers might work. Waiting for media to come to them won't work, from what I've seen.  |
