We have extended the outage announced here. Due to an additional step required, we need another two hours beyond the original scheduled end of the outage. Once we are finished and have restored normal processing I will post an update here. We apologize for the continued outage. - Kevin |

I did notice one of my cloud instances with all tasks "stuck". Turns out it was "http unavailable". I shut it down for now.

Thanks for telling us. It's not the end of the world, and compare to the Corona crisis we all live with now, an extended outage here is nothing to speak about.
I just hope the Beta of WCG's Covid-19 research will continue ASAP. |

Any idea when this will be fixed? I am a former contributor, just coming back and I couldn't get anything to run, so I came here and found this "outage".
Is this keeping anything from starting up on my machine? I'm trying to make sure I've got it installed properly. The icon in the task bar says "Network is enabled" and "Computing is enabled" I'm assuming (and hoping) this outage is keeping stuff from running. |

We are basically waiting at this point for an SQL update statement to finish running. It has been running for two hours. Unfortunately, there is no way to get it to tell us how far along it is. Once it does finish though, we will be up and running within a few minutes after that.

Mike Actually there was a window where reporting and downloading worked, so had a restocked buffer. For uploading the full database is not really needed. Files are just being stored waiting for the report to come through to tell which result files belong to what result summary. For assigning new tasks though the full set is needed, |

If you were lucky enough to get some downloads BEFORE this outage started, they should happily run on your machine(s). I had extended the size of my queues based on the original forecast, but not by enough, and just about everything is finished running and is waiting for reports. Downloads will have to come later. I saw the message a couple of days ago that this was coming, so needed to (sort of) prepare. It is now 10:30 PM UTC, so it has definitely been extended. The first announcement was to go to 6:00 PM UTC. They found another step to run.
