My Android TV box only has 1GB as storage. With all the apps I installed, now there's only 600MB left so there's no way to run Rosetta@Home or even MIP. Is it possible I can use external storage for crunching? I have an 8GB USB thumb drive and a 4GB SDHC card. Both of them can be attached to the box. Any idea?

Before, check the Android version because there is limitations from 4.4 version or less. Better if you can use a more recente TVBOX.
But, you can download Boin from ess WCG, and then you can select just SCC Project that in average have less hardware requeriments than MCM (too heavy to run in any ARM/Android anyway, but run expending a very long time of the processor resouces for each task). I don't know any way to expand TVBox memory using external devices. Good look. |
