I am guessing then that by Linux this done not mean Raspberry pi? Too bad, I have about 4 of them and would gladly hook them up so that they would be ready to help out. ![]() |

Hi Grumpy Swede, this last batch of beta work was a small one, but there'll be more beta work to come.
Many thanks, Juan |

Juan
That looks fine, but I am not sure about Emerald. Perhaps the green centre should be paler? Or maybe the number 19 in the middle? Mike |

The 19 in the middle is an interesting idea, but I wonder how confusing it will be with the number of years in the diamond badge. Not to mention that this is being set up for more than COVID-19; it's supposed to be for multiple future pandemics. Emphasizing the 19 so strongly will undermine that messaging. So, despite the fact I like the idea, I'll have to -1 that.
----------------------------------------Regarding color schemes, if the corona parts are black, it might be a sufficient outline to distinguish the virus at the center with the background color. That would just make the badge minimalist and "flat", which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The alternative would be to make the entire virus black so that it distinguishes against all present colors (like the hammer in SCC). But I'm not a visual designer, so I'll leave that in the hands of the people who know what they're doing ![]() ![]() |
