I have a /possibly/ related problem. Old BOINCer, new to WCG. Trying to change my BOINC resource share. Googled to figure out where you guys hid it (solved, but still a problem) navigated to My Devices / Default and make changes, hit save and window pops up saying

"Error

An error occurred because you have submitted the page more than once.


Your action has resulted in an error."

I responded to the email to validate my account. Logged out of WCG, cleared WCG related cache, logged back in, same error. I've run out of ideas how to solve on my end. And oh yeah, I keep updating the BOINC project, but don't see Resource Share change. Thanks!

Same issue.
Trying to change profiles settings result in the following error on the first try.
An error occurred because you have submitted the page more than once.
Your action has resulted in an error.


I'm also having to log in every time I visit the site even though I have remember me checked.

Still getting same error when trying to change profile settings. Can someone please look into this issue.

Unfortunately, I was not able to recreate the error. In order to help me cause the error, can you send a screen shot of the settings you are trying to use along with the exact steps you are taking that results in the error? Also include how you log into the website (for example, do you use the keep me logged in checkbox?). Please send this information to support@worldcommunitygrid.org. Thanks!

Logged in on my Ipad and was able to change the profile settings. Weird. I'm not going to dig into why the settings won't change on the cruncher. Will be put in the category "one of life's great mysteries." confused

I've deployed a revision to the website that changes the way we handle the profile updates. Can you please retry and let me know if this works for you? If it doesn't work, then can you provide details about what changed and what error/informational messages might have been presented?

Unfortunately, I still haven't been able to reproduce the issue so I'm guessing a bit at what is causing the issue for you. I appreciate your patience while we work through this.

It's something I've seen come and go for no apparent reason, sometimes as if it's saved twice. Usually an F5 and hitting save again ends in acceptance.

I just followed the exact same steps as before and it worked! Updated BOINC and resource share updated to the new value. Thank you!!!

I did not need to try the F5 idea, but thanks for the tip.
