Re: Device Profile changes not sent to agent

For what it's worth, I'm also finding the device profile changes are not taking effect, hence why I was looking on the forums to see if others getting same. Cheers.

Re: Device Profile changes not sent to agent

I have the same issue here, in 2 computers. The profile changes don´t work. The machines are running dry asking feeders for more tasks .

Re: Device Profile changes not sent to agent

The message system may be clogged. I have 36 devices going back to April 2006 that are no longer in use. I would expect users like Marist College would have many thousands like that. With the latest virus problems and many people working from home thare may be a big increase in demand/devices. Folding@home has seen an increase in over 400,000 more people joining!

I would expect the techs to fix the problem seen, after the weekend. They are probably running a much reduced service to stay safe.

Think WCG is pretty much a remote control operation. The techs are spread all over the country and are probably able to work from home since a very long time.

Re: Device Profile changes not sent to agent

There is an issue and I am building the fix to our QA environment at the moment. Once I test successfully I will be able to move to production and that should resolve the issue.

The changes are not lost, they are just backed up due to bit of inefficient code (written by me) that should be fixed in my change.

Sorry for the issue and I'll post again when I have the fix deployed and the system catches up.

Re: Device Profile changes not sent to agent

It is fixed and it has caught up. Any changes that were made should now show up. If you make a new change, it should be immediately processed. Thanks for your patience while this was resolved.

[edit] Changed "should not" to "should now" Tx Sgt. Joe for the catch.

I think you meant "now".
