Firstly I am glad to get these puppies. I just got 6 of them that caused other WU's to be put in "waiting to run". I wanted to understand the reason for the short deadline. Are they resends like ARP sends out? Is this mechanism a means to get rid of the dreaded "trickle" status update that caused me to stop crunching FAH2 two years ago due to not having 100% connectivity?

Thanks BladeD I missed all that when I bailed in 2018. Skimming the posts
----------------------------------------it sounds like my hunch of getting rid of "Trickle" transfers is the reason for chopping up work into manageable chunks which need to be quickly executed.
