I have an Android TV box. I installed the BOINC app and run it. It just wouldn't add any project, well, sort of. The interface of project adding is somehow similar to the one on the phone, but without any checkbox (No checkbox in any page!). Well, that is the real problem. I ccould move the highlight bar up and down but I when I clicked 'Continue', the app just told me 'Please choose a project'. No matter what I use, remote control, mouse or keyboard, I just couldn't choose a project.
----------------------------------------Now the weirdest thing happened. I was so frustrated and hit the down button on the keyboard to the bottom. The hightlight bar disaappeared. When I push 'UP' a few times and mouse-clicked 'Continue', it just worked and told me to enter username and password. I didn't even know which project was it and which key made it choose a project. This senario happened 3 times. Once added Rosetta@Home, once was Radioactive@home and the 3rd time led me to Asteroid, totally random. Later I tried to add project from account managers but BAM wouldn't let me register and gridRepublic couldn't log into WCG. I can only add Rosetta through gridRepublic but there's no work for Android. Now I would like to know: 1. Why is the interface different between an Android box and a phone? 2. Anybody running BOINC on Android box? Did you have the same problem before? 3. How can I add project to this damn thing? Anyone can add WCG project through gridRepublic? Thank you very much. Sorry, forgot the specs: CPU is a Amlogic 8726 Dual Core 1.5GHz. Android version, I think it's V4.1. Is it possible because the version is too low?

BOINC Version 7.4.53
----------------------------------------I think it's probably some incompatibility between Android version and BOINC. But it doesn't matter any more. ![]()
