Computers do not create vaccines, that's why.

WCG does not create any project, just it supports them.
----------------------------------------Scientists are in charge of creating projects. By the way, the current corona virus is already genotyped. Couldn't scientists use computer modeling to examine the virus' protien substrates and model vaccines on them?
I imagine WCG would gain thousands of new users if there was any Covid initiative... |

Sure, if any scientists approach the WCG with a detailed project proposal. Till that happens, if at all, you have Rosetta@home and Folding@home for SARS-CoV2 work. Well, if Folding@Home has a project, people want to help and WCG needs to be proactive in recruiting, facilitating, and prioritizing COVID-19 related computer work.
I've been searching for teams to join but can't find any. I'm having a hard time finding the Folding@Home project as well. what's the deal here? https://www.gamesradar.com/nvidias-calling-on...o-work-fighting-covid-19/ |

A link is not an adequate answer.
Folding@Home appears to be independent of the Boinc and WCG communities. I've tried adding the BAM project manager through Boinc but Folding@Home is not showing up. There is no clarity on WCG's participation or facilitation on a COVID-19 set of tasks. |

As stated by the WCG, there are currently no COVID-19 projects at WCG.
----------------------------------------The only BOINC project that has/had work on this virus is the Rosetta@home project. Folding@home is outside of WCG and BOINC. Read their website if you wish to join.
