Hallo everybody,
A work unit was marked as "Invalid" Result Name: ARP1_ 0014492_ 001_ 0-- <core_client_version>7.14.2</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <stderr_txt> INFO: Initializing INFO: No state to restore. Start from the beginning. Starting WRFMain [19:57:52] INFO: Checkpoint taken at 2018-07-03_06:00:00 INFO: Initializing Starting WRFMain [15:51:10] INFO: Checkpoint taken at 2018-07-03_12:00:00 [19:27:19] INFO: Checkpoint taken at 2018-07-03_18:00:00 INFO: Initializing Starting WRFMain [10:38:11] INFO: Checkpoint taken at 2018-07-04_00:00:00 [13:49:52] INFO: Checkpoint taken at 2018-07-04_06:00:00 [08:13:03] INFO: Checkpoint taken at 2018-07-04_12:00:00 [11:55:25] INFO: Checkpoint taken at 2018-07-04_18:00:00 [15:26:24] INFO: Checkpoint taken at 2018-07-05_00:00:00 INFO: Simulation complete compressing output. 15:30:13 (6784): called boinc_finish(0) </stderr_txt> ]]> To me everything looked fine. Maybe it makes sense to have a closer look at the WU, because invalids slow down the project additionally, I guess. The System is an i7-6700 16GB RAM, Windows 10 |

Invalids are a result of the first 2 WUs sent out being compared and not matching. A 3rd WU is then sent out and its' results are compared to the first 2. Which ever 2 match are deemed valid and the other invalid. Nothing to be concerned about. It happens and you'll still get rewarded points/time for the one you returned.

Thank you for your reply and explanation. I was suprised a little bit, because I didn't see a invalid WU for a very long time.
