I tried to restrict the project to one thread using app_config but arp1 was not recognised, nor was anything like it shown in the list of available codes.

Go to your device profiles and there is a section there where you can restrict the number of each project you want for your machine.

The device profiles restrict the total we can have downloaded, but we need something to restrict the number running.
I just created an app_config for it myself. If it doesn't work, I have no choice but to limit the downloads to two at a time. That won't get much work done. |

That's odd. Client_state shows it as arp1. You sure it's a number 1 and not a letter L?? I can't think of anything else!

Also, it will show if it is present at all. Otherwise, did you activate it? [Edit 1 times, last edit by Jim1348 at Oct 31, 2019 7:17:32 AM] |

10/31/2019 8:28:26 AM Your app_config.xml file refers to an unknown application 'mcm1'. Known applications: 'mip1', 'zika', 'hst1', 'fahb', 'arp1'

I have been using app_config for years. All I did was change one project for another and this was the message

Curious how the 'known' lists 8 sciences, but your 'whole' file only shows 4.
Propose you copy the sample I posted into your file and re-read. Of course assume the actual arp1 app has been downloaded, for if not, that is what generates the error. |

app_config is a restricting tool Any not mentioned would be unrestricted. What is really curious is that the messages we received are so different. I have been successfully restricting mcm1 for a long time but your message doesn't recognise it whereas mine has it in the list. Conversely, mine doesn't recognise arp1 whereas yours does.
Something weird is happening! Mike |
