Now less than 500 this morning.
Anyone still holding arp units should reduce their target cache for the reason stated in my previous post. Mike |

Good evening,
I am investigating how to prevent this in the future. The numbers looked 'ok' before the weekend, but as you can see, it really wasn't (slightly decreasing). I'm going to work tomorrow to see if I can come up with an alert that will give me a heads up in advance of this happening. As for why it took us a bit to get to, the feeder was showing it was full of work, however it was waiting to send to specific types of hosts. Restarting the feeder allowed it to recalculate if that was still needed. We have checks for if the feeder has work, but need to add something for what I'm calling stale work. I'm going to put a few thousand work unit into the feeder here to help machines fill up again. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Good luck Keith !
------------------------------------------- At the end, everything is related to monitoring matter. The difficulty here is the number of processes to monitor and what they finally perform. A running process alone is not enough, the process should do something meaningful. Because of the various client configurations and of the highly different project requirements, an effective monitoring becomes really complex. Yves |
