Maybe having us all download the application files now, a few days before the 4th, will make the 4th go [more] smoothly. I am yet to receive any tasks, have also noticed that so far I have not got the application in my "project folder" only "png files" I do agree the load will be slightly less on the server because some hosts won't have to download the application saving 100 MB of bandwidth for each host that does not need the application. File size reference information from System Requirements page also located 2 post above mine I am looking forward to receiving work |

I have 1 unit on 1 machine but none on the other. That started 2 hours ago.

Sunday Report is back.
The full report will be back next Sunday. 1527 units have validated by noon GMT from generations 126 to 137. Please don't forget the 3 in generations 21 & 22. Mike |

Hi! Just did a quick check before heading to bed and about half a dozen hosts got a new WU, but all are stuck in downloading the 100+MB sized WU over about 10 files... New workunits have started to come, already got some! Good luck everybody!! Looks like we got some frustrating times ahead of us... Ralf |

Well, I'm not doing ARP, but my MCM1 tasks, are also stuck in downloading. I was expecting that to happen, but maybe not this early on Monday.I'm sure it will be fine, any year now

I got 2 resend tasks with generations lagging behind: 106 and 113 - Deadline 1.5 days - already running.
----------------------------------------Probably the first ones from the queue so not suffering from HTTP-erros. |

Well, ....
----------------------------------------I seriously questioning the wisdom of sending out resends with a 36h deadline, when it might take 24h (or more) just to get the WU downloaded, if you just can't baby sit each and every workstation and manually retry the downloads... :( And it seems that the download of MCM1 WUs get hung up more often than not as well, so that will be a rough holiday season in WCG land... Ralf I don't worry about the due dates too much as the odds are pretty slim that the next WU would get downloaded and executed before you return yours even though yours would be late |

Do they still send out 3 copies of the older ones with shorter deadlines?
