A 1G vRAM / 1 vCPU cloud server at an average hosting provider (DO, Vultr, Linode, etc.) with a systemd CPU throttle (it's public cloud, you don't get 100% of your virtual CPU to use 24/7) in place at about 60% will produce 6-8 WU results per day. (-ish, the details matter)

If your aging hardware produces less than 6 WUs of output per day, turn it off and spin up a $5 cloud server instead. I recommend Debian as 'boinctui' is readily available as part of the standard packages.
