Have the memory requirements recently increased? I have a tablet that keeps throwing insufficient memory errors that has never had a problem with Zika tasks before.

The individual workunits vary with memory, but I don't know any major changes to them that would cause them to exceed the limits we have set . Could your device have had an update or something else running in the background that is holding the extra memory? Also, have you attempted a restart to see if something is getting hung on your device?
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've tried the old "turn it off and on again" a couple of times without result. I'll dig in a bit more to see if something has started hogging RAM recently.
----------------------------------------Good to hear that they are still within the figures given on the system requirements page and it isn't a change in the project that would make this device unusable on the project going forward. |

Try clearing the cache. I often see this on my Androids with 4gb of memory, clearing the cache normally sorts this out and its also worth checking your apps, especially anything related to Play store which can also build up a considerable amount of unwanted data which can also be safely deleted.

Thank you both for the tips. I was able to stop quite a few processes that were lingering after app updates and this reduced memory use to the point that the errors ceased.
