Re: New Beta Test – May 29, 2019 [Issues Thread]

I'm glad someone else was confussed by those messages!

It seems that they are the times at which the source data for the simulations were taken, so they identify the work being done. They are nothing to do with the real-time clocks on our computers.

That is correct that is the calendar time of the simulation.

Thanks,

Please add the words "simulation date/time" to the message.
As these are long running tasks, having the date in the message timestamp would also be good.

Re: New Beta Test – May 29, 2019 [Issues Thread]

I only got 1 and it ran in 17 hrs on a machine that normally handles everything in less than 10. Two other machines (not mine) got the same unit and ran 26 hours, one of them returning invalid.

Re: New Beta Test – May 29, 2019 [Issues Thread]

One task that I restarted has turned into Pending Verification:
BETA_ ARP1_ 0001872_ 000_ 1--
That seems to indicate there's a problem with restarting.

Thanks for pointing this out. We are testing a fix for this in our internal alpha environment. This will delay the next round of beta work by a bit. Hopefully we will be able to promote the build to beta tomorrow and begin the next round.

Thanks,
armstrdj
