It is currently 12:52 GMT (UTC) and the stats should have started 52 minutes ago and should be available about now. However, My Contribution is showing stats at 12 hours ago, when they should be up to date or unavailable.

At about 02:32 UTC the message hit the state, at which point (as on the last few days) it appears to get stuck.

I happen to have a script that fetches the stats using the available APIs, and I ran it at 02:34 UTC - it got what appear to be up-to-date statistics (they were certainly different from the ones it fetched at about 00:30 UTC, which appeared to match the web site's values from the "mid-day" stats run...).

So whilst this strangeness is going on, the stats have updated and are visible, but not immediately via the web site. Yesterday (6th May) the page was stuck on that 0-0 message for an hour or more (I didn't note the actual duration); today it went back to normal at about 03:48 UTC (so about 75 minutes).

And when the stats pages eventually re-appeared, the "statistics Last Updated" time is reported as 00:06:02 UTC (presumably the time the job is kicked off), so if one doesn't actually catch it whilst it's in this strange state it will look as if nothing out of the ordinary happened, as per Ralf's first comment...(And now I notice I was editing this post whilst Ralf was posting a second reply... Hey, ho!)

I just hope this [transient?] issue isn't messing up stats collection for any of those folks who (like me) have written their own collectors but (unlike me) might be running them on autopilot!

I'm looking into the issue as I type this. There appears to be a slow down during the stats run. Hopefully we can get this resolved soon.
