On both of my devices where only WCG is the project listed, the statement recently and today is as follows when restarting BM:
Device 1. ...Checking presence of 572 project files on 7.14.2 - There are no 572 tasks on BM just about 50 pending on 1 project only. Device 2. ...Checking presence of 336 project files on 7.12.1 - There are no 336 tasks on BM just around 25 pending on 1 project only. On BM Update, both devices state: Tasks are committed to other platforms when requesting tasks with HST This occurred in the past few days (on/off) and denies new tasks when it should not. Any assistance would be appreciated |

Project files is not the same as number of tasks. Each task consists of various files - check "slots" subfolder in your BOINC data directory - and initial check reports on number of these files, not number of running/downloaded tasks on your machine
