Edited to include important article about Rahul Sood, former CEO at VoodooPC
----------------------------------------For former Voodoo employees, customers, Mutthaboard (Voodoo name for their forum) board Members! Hopefully, a good number of the people mentioned above can answer in our Recruiting thread. What we want to do. 1. Bring the great forums that VoodooPC and Andrax, net had to get it started once again! 2. Maybe volunteer with us as well. Also, former high-end PC Makers (Falcon Northwest, Alienware and other custom PC Makers). We can have fun talking fast rigs, cool games (they keep getting better)! A quick back grounder of VoodooPC - HQ in Calgary, Canada. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VoodooPC ![]() It's about time for looking for former VooDooPC customers and Members of the VooDooboard in the Recruiting thread here at the WCG. I told Holleyman I would do this. Look for former members of the now gone VooDooPC Mutthaboard. First goal is to restart Andrax.net forum and also to hopefully get more great volunteers to join us here. Hollyeman was a Lead Builder or VooDooPC in Calgary, and supposedly had 22,000 Members. Not sure that was true, but it would be awesome to see friends that graced that Board. From Airline pilots, Doctors, Biz people, Lawyers, Artists, Gamers and just regular folks who liked crazy fast rigs like me! Plus, we all had fun with rival PC forums with also well known Gaming Rig companies like Alienware, Falcon Northwest and others! -- (Below statement was posted on http://www.andrax.net 17 October 2017 - 08:09 AM) ------------------------------------- From Andrax: It's been a great run and in our prime this was a lush, thriving community that you all helped make a bright spot in the vastness of cyberspace. Over the years, life, work, family have pulled us all in different directions... and that's ok. After a lot of pondering and soul searching, I've decided it's time to turn the lights off and close the door on this chapter. Thank you all for everything that you did to make this such a kick-ass place to spend time talking about games and electronics. I will always cherish the conversations and contributions that you all made to making Andrax.Net what it was. Hopefully we will all run into each other again sometime! Always, Andrax --------------------------------------------------------- from Hollyman Thanks JC for the warm welcome back. I’ll spend some time here catching up on some of the latest posts. It’s been quite a while. [Nov 11, 2018 2:47:38 AM] 10 November 2018 I posted that because I got an email from a fellow board member of Andrax.net whose name is Holleyman and used to work at VooDoo PC in Calgary, Canada as a topnotch System Builder. You may have heard od VooDoo PC as one of Maximums PC's fave gaming/hi-end application PC on this planet! Falcon Northwest, Alienware and other custom PC builders where competitors before HP bought VooDooPC. Holleyman emailed that he could not login anymore at Andrax.net. He said me missed all those Board Members we had (about 600). After VooDoo PC was bought, former customers joined Andrax.net. It was one of the best boards that I had been on and all the Members were just great to be 'around;. I mean this peeps were Airline pilots, ER Surgeons, and Indian Chiefs! LOL! The Ladies and Gents there were simply some of the folks ever. You can still read posts on the Andrax front page that goes back to 2003! The link we have here to Andrax leads to the DC Forum. It's all good. And Holleyman, check in if only to say 'Hi". wink Anyway, I told Holleyman that the Andrax Team was still here and I tols hum to come by to say hello. I plan to post a thread here at WCG and ask if ANY former VooDooPC customers were here. VoodooPC had 20,000 boad members from around the world and this could be a chance to pick up several more volunteers to crunch with us. I know that a be a tall order but if you don't try ... well, as they say: No risk it, no Biscuit! biggrin ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hopefully, Raul Sood, the former CEO may even pop in here!
