Multi thread apps

Is it possible to have the apps on WCG to run Multi Threaded by use of an app_config.xml like on Primegrid ?

<app_config>
<app_version>
<app_name>llrMEGA</app_name>
<cmdline>-t 8</cmdline>
<avg_ncpus>8</avg_ncpus>
</app_version>
</app_config>

If so where can I find the name of the applications that will be recognised.

EDIT: It seems to work looking in Boinc Manager. The test will be what the credits are and how WCG treats the task and uses the CPU time rather than the Run time to work out the credit.

EDIT Does not seem to work for Mapping Cancer Markers:

Result Name: MCM1_ 0149072_ 2662_ 0--

<core_client_version>7.14.2</core_client_version>

Not enough or invalid arguments, please try again.

NOTE: Deleted all the app_config.xml files as they do not seem to work on this project in Linux ow Win 10. The "Run Time" and "CPU time" were running at the same pace even though I was using 8 cores on the tasks.

Re: Multi thread apps

Unless you're waiting on a result, think it's a waste of time and inefficient in resource utilization at that, more costly per flop.
