Noticing 99% of my FAAH2 tasks are being returned with an error. Looking back through 12 pages of them, practically all have come back with an error. Out of 169 listed, only 8 came back valid. Turning off FAAH2 tasks as it's just wasting time other WU's could use - which don't error out.

What kind of error messages are you receiving? |

I don't know. When I go into Results Status and filter it to FAAH2 they just say error. Yet the others, HST, Zika, MCM and MIP all show valid and not one errored task.

If you go into Results Status and filter it to FAAH2, the word "error" should be a clickable link. If you click on it, you should see an error message. You might also get some clues from looking at the Event Log in BOINC on your desktop. When you find error messages, post them here and maybe someone can help you diagnose the issue.

Hmm, so event log shows this:
----------------------------------------29/01/2019 3:03:03 PM | World Community Grid | Computation for task FAH2_002626_zinc12342228_000001_000059_002_0 finished 29/01/2019 3:03:03 PM | World Community Grid | Output file FAH2_002626_zinc12342228_000001_000059_002_0_r744218736_0 for task FAH2_002626_zinc12342228_000001_000059_002_0 absent similar pattern for every one. Indicating a missing file? Don't know how it could be if it downloads the task then begins crunching it. Copying the whole text when I click the error link in Results Status shows this (same task) Result Log Result Name: FAH2_ 002626_ zinc12342228_ 000001_ 000059_ 002_ 0-- <core_client_version>7.14.2</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> Incorrect function. Normal ones look like this on website:

Suggest re-boot then project reset if persists. As other WUs OK unlikely to be overheat. Paul.

Not overheating. System is on liquid cooling and barely breaks 60oC. Some tasks get further along, others stop even shorter. One I have here went 6000 steps, another here didn't even make the 500 steps - it's just random points it errors out.

Could these be hitting memory limits ?
----------------------------------------Some need 1 or 2GB memory so 16 threads into 16GB may max out. Suggest try 1 at a time and see if OK. Paul.

Will have a look Paul. Will set a hard limit of 1 or 2 and see what it comes back with.
----------------------------------------Update: I have 2 tasks downloaded and running. They seem to fluctuate in RAM usage. From around 200MB to around 420MB that I have observed so far.
