Hi all, Thanks for the update! We will begin sending out the new set of SCC1 workunits shortly. Seippel Was surprised when I just saw the first two WUs showing up on one of my hosts. So there is hope that I can finish the 50y Diamond badge in the foreseeable future... ![]() Ralf ![]() ![]() |

Hi all, We will begin sending out the new set of SCC1 workunits shortly. Seippel Wonderful! I've been starved of HST work, so my hosts picked up 1250 SCC1 WUs. ![]() The first just completed. ![]() David

We will begin sending out the new set of SCC1 workunits shortly. I got about 50 SCC1_0003336_OPN... 1:07:12 estimated to do each of them them. I have 4-core processor, but one is doing a big climateprediction.net work unit that has about 715 hours to go My guess it will really take only about half that. So the three cores will probably spend most of their time on SCC1. ![]() |

Hi all, We will begin sending out the new set of SCC1 workunits shortly. Seippel Great to see this project back, but could you please enable the Project Limits setting for SCC in the Device Profiles page. Much as I like SCC, I've just been swamped with SCC units and I suspect I won't be getting any more HST1 (or, possibly, FAH2) while that's the case as my preferred settings result in fairly frequent work requests and my caches are now much fuller than they were when I could control volume on all projects... Thanks for all the hard work - Al. |

Another note, if the techs/admins can move it from "Completed Research" to "Active Research" that would also be appreciated. Cheers~

I have changed the status of the project in the database, you should see the differences for device profiles and active research pages.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Thanks for updating the status of the project, but I didn't expect it to go to "Nearly Completed". The help says that this means that "The project is within a few weeks of finishing its work on World Community Grid", but I understood that there were new targets the researchers wanted to investigate, and I don't remember anyone saying that they would only create a "few weeks" of work.
Is it possible to elucidate, please? |
