biggrin Heya im new thanks for having me!!!

hi I'm new to the team I'm running 3 hp-dl-380-g6 2u servers with dual xeon processers 2.5 and 24 megs ram and the 3rd server had 16 megs of a ram I plan to upgrade to 196 megs of ram in the near future :) and 10k sas hot swap drives I buu them used from amazon.com just search used servers in amazon and there is great deals on dell and hp servers that's where I buy my servers or unix surplus check it out if you want a Linux rack for a great price!!!!!:)

Welcome aboard. If you are just going to running any projects from WCG, the 24gbs (I presume you meant gigabytes rather than megabytes) of ram are more than sufficient. For most of the projects here the hard drive speed is pretty irrelevant. The exception was the clean energy project which had massive I/O usage. Those servers will probably be noisy so you may want to run them in a place separate from where people are. Good luck with your setup and let us know how well they perform.
