Re: Shining a Beacon for Science

Thanks to everyone who's been shining a beacon for science!

Though our anniversary has passed, feel free to keep sharing your stories of what it means to you to support science through World Community Grid!

Many thanks,
Juan

Re: Shining a Beacon for Science

I joined in November 2010 to help ease suffering around the world. Despite some doubts of the value of the results and disappointment with the long time between processing and results being implemented, I think overall there's value here.

Re: Shining a Beacon for Science

I joined in june 2009 and do hope to celebrate that milestone of 10 years next year wtih champagne!

It was to support AFM-Telethon on HMCD with team Decrypthon.
And Dr Alessandra Carbone published the results last year. It's open to any scientific team anywhere who want to go further.

Still proud to share a part with the scientists for research in new medecines.
The contribution we do add to fundamental research first. The more directed work for cure will be done in labos for sure.
Science has no frontiers as humanity is a whole.
Thks and regards to all linked in WCG community

Re: Shining a Beacon for Science

Proud to be a participant in this most worthwhile project. As long as I have electricity and a computer, it'll be crunching WCG.

Re: Shining a Beacon for Science

First Seti, then United Devices and now Boinc/WCG. Should make 50 years for WCG by the end of February.

Keep the projects coming.
