Hi,
I'm not able to increase the number of cached workunits on my Android device. Does anyone know how to do it? I've played a bit with the settings on 'Workunits Cache Settings' increasing the value for 'Cache <value> extra days of work' and the values from 'Disk Usage' without success. My device has enough free space to allocate at least 20 workunits (Smash Childhood Cancer project) but it usually gets 6 to 7 workunits. Thank you for your time reading this. Cheers. |

I don't think there is a way to change cache settings on Android.

On my Android tablet, it has 16GB of storage. I set mine to use 90% of storage and minimum spare storage to 0.1GB. I just get 20 tasks total. Just because I have storage available does not mean WCG will give me tasks to fully saturate my storage. Not sure the reason why, but perhaps there's little value in queueing up so many tasks. My octacore 1.6Ghz is fairly fast, but even that only queues up at most what I can crunch in about a day (e.g. 20 OpenZika - each takes 10 hours).

The device only crunches "Smash Childhood Cancer" wus and it usually crunches around 5-6 tasks per day. This is the same proportion as yours, I get only the tasks the device can crunch in a day.
