Good day!
My team recently broke 50 YEARS of donated computing time! This makes me want to contribute more. I am using and suggesting more often to people that Chrome OS will fit their needs. But, it looks like WCG is not available on Chrome. Will the Android version work on Chrome? Is Chrome support being considered? I would love to see it. Thanks! --Rob Lewis (Team Ichiban) |

ichibanrob,
Congratulations on your team reaching 50 years of CPU time. Unfortunately, we don't have any plans to add support for Chrome OS in the foreseeable future. seippel |

Thanks! --Rob Lewis (Team Ichiban) A problem is in the 'online' nature of Chrome OS (Linux based)... fast local storage is needed, but it seems to be possible with some effort, just not at WCG by the word of seippel. https://steemit.com/gridcoin/@holger-will/how-to-run-boinc-on-chromeos [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 28, 2018 9:27:16 AM] |

Thank you for the reply! Chrome does present some challenges.
That is an interesting workaround from Steemit... might give it a try. Thanks again! --Rob |
