App_config.xml

I've had a couple people recently suggest that I use this file recently. Is it anywhere documented what's allowed in the file and what tags are available? I searched my HD and the config files that I found are cc_config, global_prefs and global_prefs_override.

Are these files different?

I have not been able to find an xml which shows my chosen projects.

Thanks.

Re: App_config.xml

The app_config.xml is normally not present, you have to create one first if you need it.

In Windows 10 you should create it here, if you left the standard pathes at installation:
C:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\www.worldcommunitygrid.org

The standard Linux path should be:
/var/lib/boinc-client/projects/www.worldcommunitygrid.org

Note that the ProgramData directory is hidden, so either enter the path directly in the explorer or choose to show hidden files in the settings.

Also don't forget to read in config files (options -> read config files) after you created or changed the app_config.xml.
