Wow. Lots on your plate. I am not surprised though; seems we all have a real life and plenty of issues to address. Thanks for your response and as I said before: Thanks for all you do and the way you do it. Kindest regards.

my daughter will be finishing her last two years of high school at a nearby state university (tuition, fees and books are free) and then continuing on there for a five-year degree program in architecture. To get licensed as an architect here typically involves a four year degree followed by a two to three year masters degree. She'll be able to do that in five and complete minors in economics and Asian studies as well. If her test scores go well (she already has the grades), she will qualify for a state program that completely covers tuition. That leaves the feds to provide for fees and books. Good for her. As long as she has the drive and ambition she should do well. She has charted herself an ambitious course. She will find college is more rigorous than high school. If my recollection is any good, she should plan on spending 2 to 3 hours on out of class time for every hour spent in class. She shouldn't be afraid to cut down on the non core subjects to concentrate on the core subjects should the load get too heavy. We also have a similar program in Minnesota. This process can save both you and her a ton of money. I wish they would have had this when I was in High school, because I surely would have taken advantage of it. But, sadly it did not yet then exist. I wish her fair winds and smooth sailing. Cheers
Sgt. Joe

----------------------------------------Nope, I am going for a billion points but am only at 947,328,686 as of now. My goal is 1 Billion points. I am thinking I will get there in the spring some time. We will see. Hopefully we will find a cure for something or other prior to my reaching my goal and retiring my computers. |
