Here in Brisbane, Australia we've been having daytime temps of 35 - 40c and until I get aircon installed in a couple of weeks I'm stopping the grid - my puter just gets grumpy running @ 100% CPU load in that sort of ambient heat.

Sorry to hear that---Australia is the only place in the world i would really like to visit--also only place Redwoods grow besides California--are they protecting them?
